Soups up early today
a number of cooks
had a hand in this
afternoons special
one picked his nose,
the other shined his dirty shoes
down on the floor
while one picked a booger
off his face
rubbed it on his
apron, went to the counter
happy smile written across
his face, while singing "ah"
such a vaiety of spice, bringing
up the soup today
don't bother asking ;
not a customer complained
